About our College

The then Nueva Vizcaya Agricultural College (NVAC) gave birth to its first and college department, the College of Agriculture on October 20, 1969. It offered the first four-year degree course, the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, with two major areas of specialization, Agronomy and Animal Husbandry. Thirty (30) students pioneered the degree courses. After four years, then of the enrollees composed the first batch of graduates.

The College is presently accredited through National Agriculture and Fisheries Education System-Commission on Higher Education (NAFES-CHED) as Provincial Institute of Agriculture (PIA) and Provincial Institute of Fisheries (PIF) holding the status from 2009.
